Selfridges Miniature Designer Shoe Cabinet Launch!

Hey all!

Have any of you been to Selfridges London recently? On my recent trip there, I of course had a look round at their Shoe Gallery to find on display the launch of their Christmas miniature shoe collection. In this limited edition range, you will find perfect miniature replicas by the designers themselves including Christian Louboutin, Vivienne Westwood, Fendi and Maison Martin Margiela. You can buy the shoes seperately as collectables or if have £18,000 at hand you can buy the limited edition Selfridges Mini Shoes Advent Calendar or Cabinet rather!

If I wasn't a student ie. had a disposable income I would think about having this as a collectable. How great of a conversation starter would that be. See the shoes for yourself! These are all available to buy via Selfridges.com and in-store, how cute are they!?

What shocked me is that they are selling that for only £5 compared to the others which retail at over £200. Christian Louboutin however, even made a miniature Barbie shoe set exclusively for Selfridges for only £60! I definitely wouldn't mind this for Christmas.

I don't usually collect but I was really drawn to collecting all of these. Especially as a lot of them were quite affordable. What do you guys think? If you have a chance to check this out at their Shoe Gallery definitely do! Especially if you are a shoe lover like me.

What better creation is there than Instinct?

I'm pretty sure I just went to shoe heaven. This has given me a lot of inspiration with winter boots with season. I'm not sure about other countries but I know the UK is full of dupes of these especially in shops like New Look. They have a hundreds of different winter boots to chose from.

I love the next few coming months because the parties are always the best this time of year. Even though it is absolutely freezing and wet in London. Here's some gorgeous new evening dresses by H&M all £24.99 and £29.99! Definitely a bargain.

Even though I do complain about the weather, I'm happy that I live in a country with four seasons so I get to wear gorgeous winter clothes! I always think there is a lot more to offer "fashion wise" with the autumn/winter season :) I hope you all have had a lovely week. It's been raining pretty much every day in London this week. 

Oh and October 7th is coming up which means it's my BIRTHDAY! :) which I can't wait for. I'm taking a few girls to Hard Rock Cafe to celebrate with me. Maybe hit a bar later.

Autumn 2010 Buyers Guide.

Hello fur? I am so excited for fall :) definitely my worst season for weather but my favourite season for fashion. 

These items were all picked as favourites of this season so far by the world's leading fashion directors from London to Hong Kong to Milan to Paris to NYC. Mmmmm :)

I friggin love them all but if i had to pick a favourite it woud be the Opening Ceremony Peter Pan style short-sleeved pleated dress just because it's so unique/cute and chic. Can go so well with a pair of pumps in the daytime or heels in the evening.

Booties & Orgasm.

I can just picture myself in a few years when I have my own home with a walk-in wardrobe full of gorgeous heels. Or at least a girl can hope right?

I took a trip to Selfridges and was excited to see the NEW (yay!) Shoe Galleries open on the second floor.. it was like walking into a ladies heaven. Some of those shoes in the Shoe Galleries are exclusive to Selfridges as well which makes it even more amazing. And their seats aren't just your standard seats.. they have seats for you to try on your shoes in the style of cinema seats; so they open up but obviously they're the clean velvety luxurious version.

The shoe gallery is completed on the 16th September and I cannot wait.

One thing I love is their variety of brands now that you didn't see so much before. I'm seeing a lot of new shoe brands there now like Opening Ceremony from the US.

I also discovered another new brand which really inspired me... called Giuseppe Zanotti, an Italian designer.
I love my Italian designers.

On another note, I bought these treggings from Topshop for £35! Great quality and SO comfortable.. just wow. And they fit so tightly.. grr :)

Enough to put me off...

Hey everyone! I'm new to this so please bare with me :)

I recently purchased these pair of sandals from Nine West in the sale at House of Fraser for around £15! Amazing right?

The only times I've went inside House of Fraser on Oxford Street was for the make-up and other skincare products, I never really paid attention to any of the floors above it where the clothes and shoes were.  I finally decided to take a look upstairs and I have to say that the selection of shoes I found there were incredible! I fell in love almost immediately with all of their heels and flats! (P.S: I do fall in love with anything very easily.) 

*big claps* for their merchandisers!

Anyway, trying these on took a lot more effort and energy than I wanted to put on a pair of sandals. Adjusting  the strap around the ankles was tricky; it takes a lot of patience. The strap is cleverly held in place by the ridges but it is so hard to make it looser. I have mastered tightening them as I just pull and pull until it decides to tighten. I cannot for the life of me loosen them up :( 

I did buy it on impulse though as they looked absolutely gorgeous on and because it is jelly-like they are so comfortable for a pair of sandals! I always seem to lose some skin or bleed with other sandals (quite disgusting I know!) but not with these!  

They come in different colours and I was originally going to buy the white pair because they go with almost everything and I love white, cream, natural looking things! However, I thought the pink was something different yet fashionable at the same time. I also loved the blue but the leopard print didn't come out as much! Well maybe it's not leopard... hmmm.

After wearing them a few times I still don't know how to adjust them without having to sweat from it but now that I finally have the the straps to fit exactly around my ankles, I am leaving them where they are and will just have to slip them on with a bit of force! Yay!

The things I do to try and look good... :)
